How does the duck toy turn on, and does it need batteries?
No batteries needed — it's rechargeable. Just plug it in with the included USB cable for about 1–2 hours, and it's ready to play. A full charge typically lasts through several play sessions, depending on how often your cat sets it off.
Will this work for kittens, senior cats, or larger breeds?
Yes! The toy is designed for cats of all ages and sizes. The flapping motion and lifelike movement appeal to a kitten's hunting instinct just as much as an older cat's curiosity. Many customers also use it for small dogs.
Is it loud? I don't want to disturb the house.
It's designed to run quietly — you'll hear a soft flutter and occasional quack, not a buzzing motor sound. It's comfortable to leave running during the day or evening without disrupting your home.
What surfaces does it work on?
It moves smoothly on hardwood, tile, laminate, and thin carpet or rugs. On very thick or plush carpet, the flapping motion may be a little more subdued, but it will still activate and play.
Is it safe if my cat bites or claws at it?
Yes, it's made from pet-safe plastic, velvet, and polyester materials built to handle normal play — biting, pawing, and chasing. As with any pet toy, we recommend occasional supervision, especially for very aggressive chewers.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 3–5 business days, then shipped and delivered within the U.S. in about 3–8 business days. You'll receive tracking information by email as soon as your order ships.
Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
